On Christian calendar A.D. 2012, a catastrophe happened.
True to the apocalyptic prophecies, an unidentified planet made its way toward Earth and proposed a collision. Fortunately, scientist’s predictions turned out to be wrong, as the planet’s size was not much larger than the moon. And as it entered Earth’s orbit, it revolved around Earth instead, becoming the second satellite.
However, it didn't mean that the crisis was over. The change in gravitational powers had shifted the balance in nature. Tides became rougher than ever in history, while earthquakes became more frequent. Smaller islands sunk beneath Poseidon's rage. And countless nations were ruined. Earth had really been thrown into an apocalyptic state.
However, after decades, civilization has finally been able to get a grasp on the matter. The advance technologies mankind brought has successfully brought back the balance in nature. And in the midst of it, mankind learned the fact the unidentified planet’s structure is similar to Earth, thus proposing a chance for being the “second home” of mankind.
Thus, as time passed, civilization started to build on this planet, truly making it the second home for mankind. However, the apocalyptic fear it once brought upon mankind had made it to be dubbed as “Planet Omega.”
